Kuala Lumpur, October 6 – WAZAN and Waqf International Action Council (IWAQF) agreed to work together in providing expertise in the field of management of waqf development.
The discussion, which was chaired by YBhg Datuk Haji Ghazali Mohd Nor, the Chairman of the iWAQF and five members of the iWAQF Supreme Committee have concluded that both entities are working together to strengthen the waqf management in Malaysia.
According to Datuk Haji Ghazali, "iWAQF will continue its role as a national and global drivers and waqf thinkers. While WAZAN and other waqf entities including jomwakaf@com, the Pertubuhan Wakaf Kesihatan Negara, Awqaf Holdings and others will continue with its role, and thereby complement the state waqf industry ".
Meanwhile, WAZAN's Director, Dr. Haji Razali Othman himself expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration between the two parties. WAZAN can learn a lot about the management of waqf development, especially from iWAQF members that comprise various backgrounds and expertise.
"Interestingly, iWAQF, WAZAN and others will work together to realize 'WAQF as a source of funding for the development of the ummah.' he said.
Tambah Dr. Haji Razali lagi, “Saya yakin wakaf akan terus hidup subur dengan kepaduan serta kesamaaan yang dibina ini. Dan, tentunya WAZAN akan terus mainkan peranannya sebagai penggerak utama dalam Wakaf Pendidikan Tinggi Negara. In Shaa Allah”.
Dr. Haji Razali add again, "I am confident that waqf will continue to flourish with this cohesion and coherence built. And, of course, WAZAN will continue to play its role as a prime mover in the Wakaf Pendidikan Tinggi Negara. In Shaa Allah ".
