WAZAN UPM, OCTOBER 19 - Centre for Management of Waqf, Zakat and Endowment (WAZAN) Universiti Putra Malaysia received a visit from the Trade Department of Shah Alam Polytechnic. This Scientific Visit to WAZAN is a collaboration of the UPM Counseling Division which is also participated by representatives from Airlangga University of Indonesia and DRB-Hicom University. The visit was held on 19 October 2018 at 9.00 am. The visit was held at Putra Chancellery Building, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Next, the tour group also visited WAZAN UPM and learned more about WAZAN. The purpose of the visit was to seek guidance and knowledge on the waqf management conducted at Universiti Putra Malaysia. In addition, guests from Airlangga University along with the Trade Department of Shah Alam Polytechnic and DRB-Hicom University are also introduced with books related waqf from Director of WAZAN UPM, Dr. Hj. Razali Othman.

Thus, this visit is seen as beneficial in fraternal relationships between the two countries and the dissemination of knowledge about wakaf. - WAZAN Online
